According to Seattle-based residential real estate brokerage Redfin Corp., Atlanta’s Adair Park neighborhood will be the most sought after neighborhood in the city in 2017. The predictions are based on the most recent growth the company has seen in pageviews and favorites on Redfin.com.

“Lately, neighborhoods like Adair Park have seen a new wave of popularity, as people move back in from the suburbs around Atlanta and want to be closer to the city center,” Redfin agent Victoria Hurd said in a statement. “Many homebuyers have been priced out of more established neighborhoods, but Adair Park is one of the last neighborhoods close to downtown where first-time homebuyers can still find nice homes in the $100,000 to $200,000 range. This neighborhood has also become really popular as more people have opted for car-free lifestyles; it’s right next to the West End MARTA rail station and has a Bike Score of 72, making transportation quick and easy.”

The company reported homes in the Adair Park have a median sales price of $128,000; homes in Capitol View have a median sales price of $85,000; and homes in West End/Westview have a median sales price of $130,000.
Even though, Adair Park is the “hottest” neighborhood on the list, its homes have a Median Days on Market of 69— the highest out of the Atlanta rankings.
